Infrastructure and Security Specialist

The Infrastructure and Security Specialist will play a key role in the management and optimization of our technological infrastructure. He or she will be responsible for guaranteeing the security, reliability, performance and user-friendliness of our IT systems, while providing effective and innovative technical solutions to support the growth of the company.

JOB DESCRIPTION

More specifically, you will be responsible of:

Ensuring monitoring, administration and maintenance of the entire network, anticipating problems and planning the necessary maintenance to avoid interruptions;
Administering and optimizing the IT infrastructure, in particular virtualization via VMware and system security;
Proposing improvements to existing systems and ensure their effective implementation;
Managing factory computers, scanners, and other IT equipment specific to manufacturing environments;
Providing level 2 and 3 support, resolve complex incidents, and provide advanced technical support;
Collaborating with internal teams to improve business processes and maximize system security and performance;
Managing and secure Azure and Office 365 (O365) environments.

You are the person we are looking for if you have the following skills and qualities:

DEC in network administration, IT security, or infrastructure;
10 to 12 years of experience in a similar position, with expertise in network administration, IT security, or infrastructure management;
Proactive, organized, and able to manage several tasks in parallel.
Analytical mind, with a sense of responsibility and an ability to implement effective solutions.
Attention to detail and ability to anticipate needs to improve system performance.
Have experience managing a VMWare vSphere environment;
Expertise in VMware and system virtualization.
In-depth knowledge of IT security, with the ability to manage and secure access, and protect against threats.
Experience in a manufacturing company, including managing factory computers and scanners.
Mastery of Azure and O365 environments, with the ability to integrate and optimize these technologies into the IT infrastructure.
Strong level 2 and 3 problem solving skills.
Ability to work independently and propose concrete technical improvements.
Bilingual English-French spoken and written.
