The IT Support Technician position might be for you!

POSITION DETAILS

On-site position in Sherbrooke.

YOUR ROLE:

Reporting to the IT Manager, you will:

Diagnose and resolve common hardware and software issues (workstations, printers, barcode scanners, etc.)
Provide technical support to users in both production and office environments
Ensure proper functioning of IT equipment on the production floor (industrial screens, terminals, printers, etc.)
Perform basic troubleshooting (connectivity checks, reboots, testing)
Escalate more complex issues to Level 2 when required
Ensure proper operation of production-related systems (display screens, weighing systems, etc.)
Participate in continuous improvement of IT processes
Be available for on-call technical support outside regular working hours

YOU ARE THE IDEAL CANDIDATE IF YOU HAVE:

DEP or DEC in IT, or DEP in electromechanics with an interest in IT, or equivalent experience
0 to 4 years of experience in a similar role
Resourcefulness, autonomy, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Strong customer service skills and team spirit
Comfort working in a manufacturing environment (an asset)
Proficiency with Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365
Basic networking knowledge (DHCP, DNS, ping, IPConfig)
Ability to configure and troubleshoot network printers
Strong Level 1 troubleshooting skills
Availability for on-call support when needed
Bilingual (French/English, spoken and written)*
