Permanent full-time day position. Possibility of occasional evening shift (replacement).
YOUR ROLE:
Reporting to the Logistics Manager, you will :
- Inspect the merchandise to be shipped and ensure compliance;
- Drive a forklift and place merchandise in the correct location for shipping;
- Attach the products to the pallets and ensure the packaging of the pallets;
- Organize the loading of trucks and collect products on a computer;
- Group batches of parts and package them;
- Apply and respect health and safety standards in the workplace
- Complete all related tasks.
YOU ARE THE PERSON WE ARE LOOKING FOR IF:
- You have a high school diploma or equivalent;
- You have completed a forklift driver course;
- You have 3 to 5 years of experience in receiving-shipping in a manufacturing environment;
- You have good computer skills;
- You are in excellent physical condition;
- You are rigorous and you have a good memory to do several tasks at the same time;
- You know how to manage your time and your work space well;
- You are proactive and you want to learn.
MISCELLANEOUS CONDITIONS:
- SALARY: $20.65 per hour at start + shift premium
- DAY SHIFT: 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- Close to public transport
