YOUR ROLE:
Reporting to the production supervisor, you will:

• Follow work instructions to perform welding-related tasks;
• Apply and comply with workplace health and safety standards;
• Follow inspection plan procedures;
• Maintain an orderly and clean work environment;
• Ensure high standards of product quality;
• Inspect manufactured parts and ensure compliance;
• Meet required production times.

YOU ARE THE RIGHT FIT IF YOU:

• Have a high school diploma or equivalent;
• Hold a vocational diploma (DEP) and/or 1 to 2 years of welding experience;
• Are comfortable with reading blueprints and imperial measurements;
• Can work with small precision tools (screwdriver, pliers, caliper, grinder, etc.);
• Have good manual dexterity and are in excellent physical condition;
• Are reliable, meticulous, rigorous, and versatile;
• Can multitask effectively;
• Hold forklift training (an asset);
• Have an ASP safety card (an asset).

ADDITIONAL CONDITIONS:

• SALARY: Up to $24.05/hr based on skills and experience
  (Salary may vary depending on the department)
• SHIFT PREMIUM: Evening premium ($1/hr)
• EVENING SHIFT: Monday to Thursday from 3:15 pm to 0:00 am; Friday from 3:15 pm to 8:15 pm
• ALSO POSSIBLE: 4-day week with 10-hour shifts
• Accessible by public transit
