DE LA FONTAINE, designated every year since 2021 for the prestigious distinction of Best Managed Companies in Canada, is looking for a Marketing and Communications Coordinator to join its dynamic team. Reporting to the Product Manager, the Marketing and Communications Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing the company’s communications and marketing activities, including those related to the new acquisition: Lambton Doors. They ensure a consistent, professional, and dynamic brand image, both internally and externally. They also support product development initiatives.
Job Description
More specifically, he or she will be responsible for:
- Writing, reviewing, and distributing internal and external communications (employees, customers, partners, media);
- Developing clear content tailored to different target audiences, consistent with the company’s brand and image;
- Managing digital platforms (website, newsletters, social media) and ensuring their updates;
- Ensuring brand visibility and consistency across all media, including technical documents and promotional tools;
- Collaborating in the creation, updating, and distribution of technical documents (product sheets, catalogs, presentations, etc.);
- Coordinating media relations, press releases, and external events (trade shows, fairs, customer days, annual sales meetings, etc.);
- Supporting the Product Manager in planning and monitoring projects related to product development or improvement;
- Participate in coordinating product testing, data collection, and required documentation;
- Provide administrative support to management (notes, memos, reports, etc.);
- May be called upon to support the Fondation de La Fontaine’s marketing activities, as needed.
* This is a permanent, full-time position at our Sherbrooke facility.

You are the person we are looking for if you have the following skills and qualities:
- Bachelor’s degree in administration (marketing), communications, or a related field;
- Relevant experience in a similar role, ideally in a manufacturing or B2B environment;
- Excellent command of French/English, both spoken and written.*;
- Excellent bilingual writing skills*;
- Proficiency in web content management tools, social media, and Microsoft Office;
- Basic knowledge of graphic design (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite), an asset;
- Organizational skills, rigor, autonomy, and initiative;
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines;
- Availability to travel outside the country, as needed.
*This position requires communication with our US manufacturing facilities.
