Job description

More specifically, he or she will be responsible for:

• Read and interpret mechanical plans to determine the specifications of the parts to be machined;
• Program CNC machines using appropriate programming languages, including G and M codes;
• Use CAD (Computer Aided Design) software such as PN4000, SolidWorks, DraftSight and AutoCAD to create 2D and 3D drawings;
• Ensure the quality and precision of machined parts, by verifying compliance with technical specifications;
• Provide technical support by resolving production-related issues and optimizing processes;
• Work independently while maintaining effective communication with production teams;
• Use Microsoft AX and the Office Suite for managing administrative tasks and monitoring production operations;
• Manage stress and meet tight deadlines while maintaining high quality of work.

You are the person we are looking for if you have the following skills & qualities:

• Reading mechanical plans: Ability to read and interpret technical plans to understand the specifications of the parts to be machined.
• CNC Programming: Proficiency in CNC programming languages, including G and M codes.
• CAD software: Knowledge of Computer Aided Design (CAD) software for mechanical drawing in 2D and 3D, more specifically PN4000, SolidWorks and DraftSight or even AutoCad.
• Precision and reliability: Attention to detail and ability to work independently to ensure the quality and conformity of machined parts.
• Microsoft AX: Basic or advanced knowledge (an asset)
• Office Suite: Basic or advanced knowledge of Excel (an asset)
• Ability to work under pressure to meet required deadlines.
• Bilingual English/French (an asset);
