DE LA FONTAINE, designated in 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024 for the prestigious distinction of Canada’s Best Managed Companies, is looking for a Customer Service Representative. Reporting to the Business Development Director, the Customer Service Representative – Technical Specialist will be responsible for providing customer and internal support for DE LA FONTAINE products.
Job Description :
More specifically, he or she will be responsible for:
- Respond to customer questions on various requests in a call center dynamic: delivery time, feasibility, special requests, order status, etc. You will act as an entry point for our customers at DE LA FONTAINE.
- Provide and coordinate technical assistance to customers on installed products, namely; problem solving, maintenance procedures, installation information, returns, repairs or replacement of products, etc.
- Write intervention protocols according to established guidelines, compile results and write reports according to established standards.
- If applicable; Coordinate the planning and implementation of corrective measures that can be taken on construction sites.
- Support the sales force at the technical level both proactively (issues, issues raised) and reactively (support sales representatives when they face a problem on the site)
- Performs product submissions as needed
Permanent full-time position. Possibility of teleworking (hybrid).

You are the person we are looking for if you have the following skills & qualities:
- College diploma in a related field;
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position;
- Superior customer orientation (communication and listening)
- Ability to solve technical problems;
- Possess good decision-making skills and be autonomous;
- Knowledge of MS Office applications;
- Perfectly bilingual English/French (spoken and written);
- Knowledge of Autocad drawing software (asset);
- Have knowledge of the field of steel doors and frames (asset);
- Knowledge of Microsoft AX management ERP software (asset).
